Mediha Imamović is trauma psychologist, certified family and psychodrama therapist.

In addition to the acquired knowledge from trauma psychology, family therapy and psychodrama, she uses knowledge and skills from other psychotherapeutic approaches acquired through educational process and personal development. She has many years of experience in therapeutic work with adolescents and adults, as well as in family and marital counseling.

She applies both individual and group counseling and therapy. She is very successful as an educator and professional supervisor to professionals who are exposed to secondary traumatization. She has many years of experience in working with traumatized people as well as in training for professionals in the field of stress, trauma, and professional burnout. Mediha also participated in a number of scientific meetings and congresses as an active participant in the work with traumatized persons and the processes of detraumatization and recovery.

She participated in many international research projects with the aim of finding new methods and techniques in working with traumatized persons with prolonged mourning processes and on transgenerational trauma.
